Paul Nathanson is a former Fleet Street journalist and has been running his PR company for seven years. The portfolio covers financial services, property and the creative/entertainment industries. Past and present clients include Channel 4, Five, Storm Model Management, The Optimistic Network (broadcaster/producer), Currency UK and Bell Pottinger Financial. He is a visiting lecturer at The London School of Journalism and The Surrey Institute of Art & Design where he teaches investigative journalism.
Nigel Smith has had a long career in public relations on both the client and consultancy side. He spent 14 years with the Chase Manhattan Bank working in London, New York and Hong Kong. He was also managing director of one of Burson Marsteller's largest offices in Asia. He has worked directly with leading companies such as Chase Manhattan, Halifax plc, Union Bank of Switzerland and AMT Futures.
Tessa Gooding has more than twenty years experience working in the PR sector and manages the communications programmes for an advertising trade body and an entertainment marketing agency. Recent projects (November 2004) include publicising the winning case histories from the Effectiveness Awards (acheived 44 trade and national press mentions) and the Radio 4 debate (January 2005) 'Down with Advertising'. She has also received four CIB Awards (Communicator in Business) for copywriting.
Nicky Brown has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world: including BA, Intel and CISCO Systems in a career which has seen her work both client-side and with agencies. Whether brokering partnerships for one of the country’s largest charities, handling communications around corporate crises, heading an agency in central Europe or promoting small businesses, Nicky’s passion for communications is focused very much on achieving results for, and supporting the businesses of, each client.
